Quito, Ecuador July 3-10, 2010
Our time in Quito, Ecuador was one of excitement, joy and awe at the work that God is doing there. Everyday we were either prayer walking, teaching crafts and playing games with kids at the VBS, playing sports, or just simply starting conversations with different people in the park.
We had the joy of seeing several people come to know Jesus personally and the chance to witness and plant seeds in many more than that. I think you could ask any of us and we would do it again without any hesitation whatsoever. God is moving in this city!
Quito 2, Ecuador July 10-17, 2010
Our time in Quito, Ecuador (the second project) was truly a blessing. We had the chance to interact with an incredible group of kids, teach them different Bible stories and simply love on them. They weren’t going to just let us teach them though; it was all we could do to try and keep up with all the Espanol that they felt like we should learn!
Some of us students got to share our testimonies with an adult discipleship class. Between that, several opportunities to witness to people on the streets, and a great VBS, we had the blessing of seeing a lot of people trust in Jesus. It was a busy and challenging week. Our time in Ecuador is a joyful memory that will stick with us for a long, long time.
